Default My own pictures as background/wallpaper - 07-10-2008, 11:38 PM

Sorry I'm new here. How can I use my own jpgs and set them as my theme or wallpaper? I tried going from "my pictures" and was able to set it, but the proportions of the picture were not appropriate.

Thanks.

BTW I have a Sprint Pearl...

Some of the pics I took had space along the edges. I found if I zoomed in little so the pic filled the screen, and then did the 'set as home screen image', it worked fine. It used the zoomed image rather than the original.

Not sure if that's the same issue you're having, but my 2 cents.

Maybe it's just good luck on my part, but all I do is just either send a pic to my phone, or use the Desktop Manager to transfer it. They are always the right size.
Now, we're up to 4 cents!

Peace,

Kamau

I used the "Wallpaper Generator" for BlackBerry to create optimized wallpapers for my screen resolution some time ago. Worked pretty well
