Before I spend any time doing this, can anyone tell me if I can use an animated wallpaper for a caller i.d. or home page background?

You won't be able to use an animated .gif as a wallpaper or caller ID image. Not supported.

I can confirm that... I tried it and it doesn't work. I can view the image, but it's not animated. This one, attached.

You can use one, but it won't be animated.

i think if that were my phones background i would end up trying to stab my phone and then throw it out the window of my car! haha no offense, cute cat.

Haha... yeah, I wouldn't use that as my wallpaper either. It was just an example.
