Default Full Screen Video?

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever i watch a video on my curve (besides the pre-loaded one) i cant get the video to play full screen theres always black bars on the top, bottom, left and right leaving only a small square that the video is being displayed in...When i set it to full screen all that does is take away the Video player UI and all i see is the videos but still only in the small square....I dont have any videos on my phone but im talking about youtube videos and videos off of cnn and such ...Anybody got any clue y it isnt letting me view the (whole) screen?

Do i have to have videos on a sd card in exactly the right resolution for it to play full screen?

I have the same problem on both Pearl and Curve. When I download videos to my desktop like from youtube or other sources, and then convert them to 3gp or mov or any other format that is suported, it is always a small box in the middle of the screen.

Anyway to fix this and get Full Screen Video?

I think it depends of the format of the video. I have some that will go full screen -- videos I got from this site:

And some I had ripped to my PC, then converted with Roxio in Media Manager. Other videos won't go completely full screen.
