Default BB Media Sync - 07-24-2008, 09:30 PM

Guys anyone else having issues with the media sync application?

I plug my device in it can see the pin but it wont sync it keeps stating it cant connect to the device.

Im following the below:
Transfer iTunes playlists from your computer to your device

Before you begin: Verify that mass storage mode is turned on in your device options. Click Help on your device for more information about mass storage mode.

1. Connect your BlackBerry device to the computer using a USB cable.
2. On the taskbar, click Start > Programs > BlackBerry Media Sync > BlackBerry Media Sync.
3. Click Select playlist.
4. Select the playlists that you want to transfer to your media card.
5. Click Sync. If the playlists contain music with digital rights management (DRM), those music files are not synchronized.
6. Click OK.
7. Disconnect your BlackBerry device.

but failing to get the connection working to sync
Version (1.0.0.16)

any help would be awesome otherwise I will keep slogging away at it

Did you try:

1. Checking your BB and making sure that mass storage mode is turned on?

2. Uninstall, then reinstall the software?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

Make sure you have DM installed or the USB drivers as well. Also make sure if you have a password on your device you type the password in the box that pops up.

I downloaded it last night and one thing I have noticed is it is slow to detect the BB. plug in your BB and wait a few.

Are you connecting directly to an available usb port on your computer instead of a hub?
