I downloaded and installed MediaSync today. That all worked fine, and the program on my computer indicated the files have been sent to my BB, and I can see them in the "BlackBerry\music\Media Sync" directory on my microSD card. However, when I try and play them in Blackberry MEdia Player on my device, I see the playlist but it shows 0 songs. I don't see any songs via browsing "All Songs" etc. Any ideas?

1. iTunes, with DRM, will not play on the BlackBerry.

2. If they are normal mp3s, Unplug from the USB cable. While powered on, remove the battery and replace it to reboot. Try again.

I should have clarified. These are regular MP3/MP4s, not DRM protected. They were still not recognized, even after battery pull. However, I noticed that after I placed another MP3 into the root music folder "BlackBerry\music" then started up the Media program on my device, about 10 did show up. Then I started Media program again and about 50 were recognized. That process gradually turned into all of them being recognized. Is there some sort of delay in recognition that is standard behavior?

No, I don't think that is standard behavior.

This is the exact behavior my Curve 8330 is exhibiting. Very frustrating as it seems to take f-o-r-e-v-e-r before it finally recognizes all the music. AND, it seems to have to "reload" every single time I connect via USB, which I do constantly.

This was not the case prior to Media Sync. Prior to mediasync my music was in the Music folder and it was just there. Whenever I wanted it.

Curious to see if others are experiencing this issue.

ETA: I found the behavior was the same with delayed recognition whether in the music or Mediasync folder. Doesn't seem to make a difference.

I'm not trying to be a pest, but this is a really frustrating issue. No one else is experiencing it?

I've confirmed that every single time I plug and unplug USB, the music has to reload. It takes forever...at least 30 minutes if not longer. AND...not everything ends up showing up. I had one song in particular I was looking for and can't find it by artist, song title, or genre. However, I have confirmed it IS in the directory.
