Due to the zip files being on another site the zip files have been removed and my themes no longer will be posted with a zip

Hello i'm wonderind how i can get these themes over OTA? i have a Blackberry Curve 8300 and i have internet in it but i just dont get how to get it over OTA since my phone can't connect to the PC

Just go to this thread with your phone and click on the version you want and the model. Make sure you are clicking on the right OS too

Which model? I just tried the 81xx and the 83xx and it popped up to download

I've got the 8310. It does give me the download screen, and sometimes it downloads partway, but then I always get the same error. My connectivity is fine and I've tried several times...any ideas?

Edit: it worked from the WAP site, I'd been using the standard edition before. Crazy!

Ok i just downloaded the Zen Theme to my curve (which is a .jad file), i got the 4.2 which is what my phone has and it downloaded fine but now i cant find the theme?
I went to my applications and is not there and i also went to Options>Themes and is not there either.. where is it???

Well I'm not sure, and you are downloading it through your BB browser and not trying to install it through DM? Just simple questions to ask

i have to do it from my blackberry because my BB doesn't connect to the computer and it isnt read by Desktop Manager

I just downloaded the 4.2 Zen version on my 8320 and it installed and shows up on my list. Don't see why it isn't showing for you

i think is because the file is a .jad format and my blackberry only takes .cod.....

how can i change it from .jad to .cod???

You have to download it through your Blackberry browser on your phone, that's why it is OTA (Over the air)

i know i do and when i download it from my phone it downloads as a .jad file and my phone only accepts .cod files

No you have to download a .jad file through your BB browser for it to install automatically. When you install something through your DM then you need the .cod and the .alx

To OTA install you download the JAD file. The JAD has information in it that tells the BlackBerry which COD file to grab off the server.

I love this theme I am using the Today 4.5 version on my 8130. Is there a way I can load it into plazmic so I can change my lock screen whenever I want. I like the vista background for the menu but would like to keep my wifes picture on my lock screen. I would just ask you to change it but I like to switch between several photos I have of her. I saw that you had someone post your theme on another sight so I may be asking a lot.

It is now possible for you to load the theme into the Theme Builder. If you want the lock screen changed, that is something that BCollins521 would have to do.

Now I am lost. I can open the sample themes that came with the program and make changes to them so why couldn't I do it if he was willing to share the file with me? I really just started messing with plazmic today so sorry if thats a dumb question

I didn't realize you were wondering if you could have the file. He could give you the file, but chances of him doing that are VERY slim. Most Theme Builders would NEVER give out that file. However, you could ask him. I am not BCollins521 and don't know what he would do.

BCollins521 is a great guy, but I don't think its appropriate to ask for his source files. I know he puts a great deal of work into them. Also if you are willing to use theme builder to modify you may want to explorer developing your own.

Let's put it this way, asking for the theme file is like asking a football team for the plays they use in their games. I guess that is the best comparison I can come up with at the moment.

Unless you are the Patriots and video tape all the plays...
