Default I'm a little confused... - 08-30-2008, 05:00 AM

Hi Brian,
i just got my blackberry 8100 today!
and I'm very keen on making it awesome
i saw your Vista today+ and just fell in love

I know this might sound silly, but i don't really understand the concept of the OTA... could you kindly explain to me how i can get your theme to work on my phone?
i usually download the file onto my computer and then put it onto my phone (i don't have a data plan)

please let me know!
thnx

You'll need the DM (Desktop Manager) version which includes the Cod and Alx needed to install. Which he'll have to post.

Sorry but since my theme was posted on another site without my permission (even though I would have said yes) I pulled down the zip. I'm not posting anymore zips due to this, only takes one bad apple. I had a Pearl without a data plan for awhile and I know how aggravating it can be with all these themes and offering OTA's

WoW! Not sure how I slept on this thread, but the Themes are fantastic (especially the Blank; I can actually see my entire wallpaper...)
Thanks so much!

I am afraid that I fall into that category myself. I must have been hibernating on this thread, because these themes are nothing short of excellent.

Peace,

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

Yes, I've seen a few 8120 users post in here. The 4.2 should work on yours since you have 4.3, not sure why it doesn't. Shoot me a PM with your email and I can see if I can fix it

It's a great combo of graphics and font choice...crisp and clean, easy to read even for me.

Smile Thanks! - 09-06-2008, 12:35 PM

Brian,

These are great themes. They are really slick and polished, and give my Curve a modern, professional look. Your Today 4.5 theme has found a home on my BB!

Thanks.

I have the 4.5 OS on my bb currently. Will it work with the 4.5 or will I have to downgrade to the 4.3 OS?

I know customizing is a ***** in 4.5, but I had Brian customize my home screen, and you really can't do Today+ without it customized, you want it to be how you like it.

I agree RIM sucks in not letting it be customizable, but I just wanted to vouch that not only will Brian customize the icons for you, for a very small donation, we're not talking about MS Office, and he is EXTREMELY helpful through the whole thing.

I think everyone here is lucky to get it without having to pay for it, somehow a decent free theme that beats Bphone got here before Bplay

What software are you using, and are we able to modify the themes for our own use?

I'm using the Plazmic Theme building software, and you can't modify these but you can make your own

Just select the 8300 plastic..doesn't matter that's just the way it looks on your screen it doesn't effect the way the theme turns out. Just make sure you export it to the 8300 and the correct OS

If I had downloaded the latest version I wouldn't have had to ask that question ...

Thanks!

Great job on the theme Bcollins!

Is it too much trouble to ask for a version where the calendar and the messages are reversed?

IE calendar appointments on top and messages on the bottom?
