Default New plazmic theme maker review... - 08-14-2008, 03:21 AM

Wow! I love the 4.5 version. Many features were added which makes it much more customizable.

Only thing that shocked and dismayed me is this... Why does custom theme lock icons?? Why? That's why we want custom theme... to set it the way we want! This makes custom theme next to completely useless.

Anyway other features are worth the large download, so if you're theme maker with a older version, download away!

Oh if you know a way to unlock the icons in Custom theme, post away in here!

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

Believe me, if there was a way then people would have posted it somewhere. A lot of builders would love to be able to do that

That's what I thought. I wondered that maybe I was using wrong search terms and was getting old results.

Thanks.

These have been posted on CrackBerry, by the user UPDATER.
They have also been posted on the site eonlinenow.com

Have fun!

I think he is talking about making the icons in custom themes, such as Bottom Zen and L, customizable.

You can make an L theme with Plazmic? I haven't seen that ability with v4.5.

Anyways, has it been confirmed whether or not you can unlock icons when doing a "Custom Theme"?

I emailed tech support. It is indeed cannot be customizable, that is, unlocked icons. :(

So far it seems there is no way to make L theme.

I'm not quite sure what you meant by that? Are you saying that one can not unlock the icons when doing a Custom Theme?

You can make a "L" theme with the custom version of the theme but the icons are set to what you set them to be. So "technically" the "L" theme is possible but it isn't as customizable as the default RIM's version

Think I'll be sticking to the last version.

Hopefully they'll let us customize it SOON! I would love a Today+ theme, with customizable icons.
