Default Mass Storage / Windows Explorer - 08-18-2008, 02:40 AM

They are not cooperating together and opening up Windows Explorer when I connect the BB. I rebooted them both and started over.

I did turn off all firewalls and I do not have Norton.

I then found this thread which got me to where I am now and I have a feeling someone will know what to do.

windows explorer not seeing mass storage - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

My problem is not exactly like that. I do not see it directly under 'Removable Storage' and have to change the drive name. It is under 'Libraries' AND THEN I have no clue what to do to get it assigned to a drive AND have it open up each time I connect.

Can anyone help or point me to a thread more specific to my problem.

Thanks

I finally got it to show up in Disk Management, so it moved from Library to Disk Management under manage, BUT I have to go there to access the Blackberry...It will not show up under My Computer even tho it was assigned a letter 'G'
