I have been sending myself ringtones as attachments but cannot open them. I see the attachments but when I put the cursor and click the application button..there is no "open attachment" or "options".

Is my memory failing me or wasn't there an "open attachment" to select from?

Have you tried rebooting the BB?

Also have you recently upgraded your OS, if so make sure you added the attachment service on through the application loader.
