Default What do I need to know about themes? - 08-19-2008, 10:08 PM

Where are they installed onto the phone from the computer?

Whats the difference between Zen, Today, etc type themes?

And I cant find any decent themes. Where would you recommend looking? I like dark themes, clean cut themes with not to much going on. I would prefer to be able to change the wallpaper.

Zen: Zen themes are designed with a minimal amount of icons on the front screen to show more of the wallpaper on your screen.

Today: Today themes usually have some type of "Today" type information on the front screen, such as upcoming Calendar Appointments, Unread Messages, Text Messages, BB Messenger Convos, Missed calls, etc.

Icon: Just means that it has all of your available icons to select as the main screen with the theme's wallpaper, or your own custom wallpaper, in the background.

And as for not finding "decent" themes, I think you need to look around this site a little more. I have seen a ton of really really excellent themes, and there are a lot of sites out there that have all sorts of themes. Just do some searches. Or read further into the Media section of this site, I can guarantee you there are some "clean cut themes with not much going on".
