Default Are "L" style themes not popular? - 08-20-2008, 11:14 AM

I'll put this out there up front...I'm a big geek and have a pic of my kids as the wallpaper, and want to be able to keep that by default. However, I do like having access to some of my most frequently used apps from the home page. The "today" style screens aren't all that appealing since they block the pic, and the side and bottom dock options don't quite give me access to all of my most frequently used apps on my 8130's tiny screen. I managed to find an "L" theme for my 8130 and really like that layout, but I'd like to find some new icons. Does anyone have/know of a free or inexpensive "L" style theme that has some nice graphics?

Thanks in advance!

Did you check themes4bb.com and themeberry.com?

Yup, been through both of them. Themeberry seems to be only OS4.5. Themes4bb might have something, but WOW is it hard to find L style themes there! Thanks for the pointers, though...I'll keep searching both.

Any other suggestions are appreciated too!

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

The problem with "L" type themes is with the theme builder your can only put the regular native BB icons there and not any third party apps. Most people want the third party apps there and there are endless combinations that you can come up with on a L theme

All my themes can be found at PimpMyBerry.com
