Default Media Centre won't download off disc or net

ARRRRGRGH!

I just bought my curve a few weeks ago and I have had nothing but trouble trying to install the media centre onto my PC.

When I download it only downloads the desktop software but there is no sign of media centre at all.

This is exactly the same when I download the software from the blackberry website.

Can anyone help before i go insane?? is there a media centre download on it's own?

HELPPP!

Wirelessly posted (off to see the wizard)

Are you positive you are downloading the proper software from the net?

Yeah, definately downloading the desktop software with media manager (same with cd rom software) and only installs desktop manager.

Would it maybe be something to do with my PC? or am I just completely stupid?
