I want to separate the pics on my card into folders. But when I tried to do it, it seemed to drive my phone crazy. It takes forever to just open the media app, then longer to access the pictures.
But the problem also goes to my DM as well. Opening the media section takes almost 5 times as long, and actually getting anything done in it is a test on my nerves (an example is from actually clicking the media manager section, to copying 25 pictures, to closing it, took almost 19 minutes).
I'm wondering, isn't creating folders on the card allowed, or am I going about it in the wrong way? I use the DM to create them. By the way, I have a 2 gig card, but even with the pics, it's only a little over half full.

I have multiple folders under my pictures folder on the Media Card. There is no problem with that. The slowness is often due simply to the fact that these are class 4 and 6 cards, which are not Speedy Gonzales on the data transfer in the first place.

Scrap Media Manager. It is slow, sluggish and crappy to begin with.
Instead enable Mass Storage on your Media Card and simply use windows explorer to view and access your Media Card from your PC as a removable drive. See the FAQs here for details.

Thanks for the info JS. I do have mass media storage enabled, but always thought you needed the DM to make it efficient. I'll give it a try.
