a lil today theme I whipped up.. tell me what you think...

Theme name: Marco2
Theme author: Marco
Theme credits:
Supported Device Model(s) and OS: 9000
Download Link(s): Below
Theme Cost:Free

I distorted my appts but you get the idea...

You just have to pick the top 6 apps on the app screen and they will be the 6 on your home screen... Im open to any suggestions hope you enjoy... I hope I posted this in the right section....

http://www.onthearm.com/theme/com_pl...eme_marco2.jad

this is an ota link...

UPDATE!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------
NEW MARCO 2 THEME....

new version of marco2... left old one up just in case someone still wanted it.... links are at wap site or email address listed on bottom of post....

ota links here

http://www.onthearm.com/otajad/com_p...eme_marco2.jad Home Icons Wrap Around

http://www.onthearm.com/otajad/com_p...o2_no_wrap.jad Home Icons Dont Wrap Around

I have updated the today themes with some of the suggestions from you guys...
I have made the selector transparent and the text above the icons smaller...
I also made a few versions of this theme... I removed the customization I had done to the first today theme with the leather back and made it more like the generic zen that comes with phone.. The reason I did this is so that you the user can customize it for yourself... One request I had was that the scrolling of the zen icons wouldnt wrap so I made two versions available one to wrap and one without wrap... The other request I got was that the application background remain the blue/black background not change with the home screen so I made two versions of that as well one with the app background that changes with the home screen and one that doesnt. Another request was to make the lock screen change with the home screen... All versions now do this... I have read about bugs people have been experiencing with scorlling and I think I have worked those out as well... Here are the 4 versions available for now.. Please continue to leave me feedback and suggestions and Ill try to continue to update them... I also renamed them to ota today...

Theme name: oTa Today
Theme author: Marco
Theme credits:
Supported Device Model(s) and OS: 9000
Download Link(s): Below
Theme Cost:Free

the different versions are:

1. ota today... wrapping zen icons, application background stays blue black.

http://www.onthearm.com/otajad/com_p..._ota_today.jad

2. ota today app... wrapping zen icons, application background changes with home background.

http://www.onthearm.com/otajad/com_p..._today_app.jad

3. ota today no wrap... non-wrapping zen icons, application background stays blue black.

http://www.onthearm.com/otajad/com_p...ay_no_wrap.jad

4. ota today no wrap app... non - wrapping zen icons, application background changes with home background.

http://www.onthearm.com/otajad/com_p...o_wrap_app.jad

These are OTA links so please visit them thru your browser... I dont have the ALX file types for these themes so the only way to install is thru ur browser... if you want an email with all 4 direct links to avoid browsing you can email [email address] from your bb email address and it will autorespond with the links to all my themes... Enjoy....

NEW: m.onthearm.com onThearm.com mobile site... go to there from phone browser... its wap site for downloading themes...

God Bless you - this is an awesome theme. I love it.

I have one suggestion for improvement (for now - will post later if I come across any more):
- Screen lock could use custom wallpaper

couple suggestions / requests.

on the home screen, the icon highlighting continually cycles, so the highlighted icon is pulsing at me the entire time. only way to make it stop is to go to the app screen and back to the home screen. and as soon as i move, icon starts to pulse at me again..
also remove the 'wrap' on home screen. i.e. if i scroll left lots, it should stop at left most icon, not wrap around to the right hand side of the screen again.

Cheers

This theme is Awesome! Thanks for posting it.
One thing though...is there anyway you could remove the "wrapping" on the home screen? If you did that, I think it would be perfect!

great theme thanks for that mate - i'd bought a few of the today themes of bplay but each one distorted the text in messages with it not being centered and aligned left... yours is perfect! Great work!

i may not have waited a full 10 seconds.. but anything more than the initial pulse is enough to drive me batty.. i just like the default behavior of single pluse on move.

Honestly... ur da man

Is it possible to stop the scrolling on the main screen at the first and last icon?
i don't know if you know what i mean, but it scrolls over after the 6th icon to go to the 1st icon... is it possible to disable that?

Thanks

EDIT: Is there also a way to remove the "Message" and have just the Calendar?

Thanks

I don't really have a data plan with my BB at the moment, is there any way to get this theme without a data plan? I've tried to download it and move it into my phone, then using the media play --> explore using that to install the file, it goes smoothly but at the end of it it tells me "Download Failed!" "907 Invalid COD File not found"

Its an OTA download. Point your BB Browser to the URL in the first post and download the theme. you then have to activate it from Settings > Themes

Hello again - one more thing to fix I guess: When on a call there is no icon indicating call in progress. The original theme showed an icon and when on mute the icon would have a \ on it to indicate mute.

Loving your theme. Hope you can fix the issues and post an improved version. No hurries though!

On another note, do I have to re-organize my icons whenever I switch themes?

when you install a new theme for the first time.. if u download over it a new version with the same name then it saves the organization for you...
