Default File size limit - 09-27-2008, 07:57 PM

currently I desire to move a 5.66mb file (audio) onto my 8300, but it says the transfer size limit is restricted to 2.83mb. I do not have a memory card.

I know I can use audacity to cut the song down for the purpose of a ringtone, but I'd much rather have the full song. I turned mass storage on, but get the same result.

Is there anyway to increase the transfer size limit?

You need a media card. Only option. I suggest you store no media in device memory you will just have issues.
