I'm sitting here in class thinking if I have a theme on my computer can I modify with the theme creator software? Because I have the bphone theme but would like to simple change the background images. So would opening the file in that software work or am I doing some wishful thinking?

no... you need the source file... sorry but RIM did it that way to prevent this such of thing...

whoever made it would have the source file...

how is it not fair... people like Corey Visto work hard on themes, and sell them... would it be fair if you did that and someone took it changed it a tad and then began selling it... thats why you cant do what you are asking, RIM and plasmic made theme builder good like that

Oh I understand the reasoning and I give props to all those guys pumping out great themes. I wasn't serious about being mad apologies it read that way.

lol no worries... i may have mis read it... literally am still half asleep at my PC right now

what you COULD do is find out who created the bphone theme, and email them and see for a small fee they can make the changes you want... thats what i would recommend
