Cool BBForums Theme - Bold - 10-04-2008, 07:05 PM

Evening / Morning All

Right, here's one I wanted to work on today. Taken about 4 hours or so cause I've been learning in the process (always fun!).

Basically, it;s the BBF logo and site colours throughout the theme. I know it isn't perfect (mainly I don;t like the menu design, but can't find the right image to change for the life of me, so any advice on this is a bonus...please respond!)

It's not been commissioned or requested by BBF, so if the mods are really unhappy with it, then clearly let me know and I'll remove the content. However, I would prefer to get things adjusted to make it a good, solid, "official" BBF Bold theme for you chaps/Chapesses!.

Theme name: BlackBerry Forums
Theme author: Sy4 / P3Z
Theme credits: Just Me!
Supported Device Model(s) and OS: Model 9000 (Bold), OS: 4.6
Theme Cost: FREE!!!

The Obligatory Pictures:-

Now, for the links ;) (Hopefully they should all work. They do with the Voda browser for OTA and should do for the Mini Opera Browser. Either or, I've included the ALX zip for you chaps as well

JAD OTA Link: http://www.gamerz.biz/bbthemes/theme..._jad_final.jad

ALX Link: http://www.gamerz.biz/bbthemes/themes/bbf/bbf_alx.zip

Look forward to feedback and comments

I like it.

I would like it better on my Bold.

Come on AT&T.

You should be able to get it, irrelevant on network?

What's the issue?

Vanilla version available if required - Lex, you have the info.

Would my version 4.5 on my 8310 Curve support this theme? If not any chance you can make one that would support that? It is the best I can do seeing I can't get a bold yet! Have one Bold Theme now but like the looks of yours!
Thanks

This will be added to the theme rotation.

Looking good.

I do have a problem on my bold. The calendar only shows 3 entries. If I then highlight "Calendar" it shows me a further 4 entries, but the first 3 are repeats of the original 3 that is was showing.

My only other comment would be that I think it would be nice to show a few more lines of messages if possible.

Thanks

Ash.

Great theme
The calendar entries getting "Stuck" is a problem on the Today themes. This can usually be fixed by switching themes and then switching back, or sometimes by a battery pull.

Unfortunately none of those solutions worked for me.
