Default Smooth Inversion - Free theme - 10-05-2008, 10:53 PM

Theme name: Smooth Inversion
Theme author: wu-wei
Theme credits: Plazmic for the stock goodies and inspiration, a few dialog elements from ozrial. The rest is my own tinkering.
OS: 4.5
Download Link(s): OTA available here (hosted on pimpmyberry)
Theme Cost: Free

Description: This is another mix of the old Smoothie icons and new Bold/Precision elements, but this one bucks the trend toward dark, glowing themes and reverses the main elements back to a light, bright theme. Currently exported only for 83xx and 88xx. Modifications are not likely. I just don't have time to customize freebies.

This is the one that I've been rocking since I made it. I put a lot of time into tweaking all the less noticed elements, like unread icons and message list icons, pulling them from the Precision theme and re-tooling them. I'm personally very proud of this effort, mostly because I paid a great deal of attention to all the little things.

Yeah, yeah - I know.

I'm sticking with Plazmic 4.5 (which means no customizable zen icons).

I'm not willing to give up custom fonts (and deal with other restrictions) by using a leaked beta of Plazmic.

Once there's an official release of Plazmic 4.6, I'll re-compile this one so folks can tweak the zen icons (assuming the new version supports that).

Cheers, and thanks for the kind words.

Sorry if I missed it but I don't see what model BB this is for. I am assuming 8800 as that is what you have as your phone? BTW Great work and nice looking theme. Hope it will work on my 8330.

Great work, like the inversion idea. Can you tell me what the 3rd icon is from the left, it isnt showing up on my homescreen. (probably have it deleted off mine)

No problem - given the relatively unique style of the Smoothie icons, I actually included a zen style 'fade in' line above the dock to show what's what as far as icons go.

The bottom dock as I've got it includes, from left to right:

(1) Manage Connections; (2) Media; (3) Maps; (4) BlackBerry Messenger; (5) SMS and MMS; and (6) Profiles.
