That program only works with the 8100 device not the 8110, 8120 or 8130. Only the 8100 has multiple LED's under the trackball.

Take a look at this thread :
My curve with a new trackball and blue LED
I know this one is about a curve, but you would need to take the same steps to have a different color trackball on your 8120.
There are plenty of threads out there discussing this.

The little sticky flags work great too...the little things that kinda clear but colored...
