Default Looking for BB Storm Icons - 11-07-2008, 11:37 PM

Anyone know where I can find these icons? I have found Storm icons, but they do not have the text along with them. I would like to find the ones with the text. I can resize now that I sort of learned how to use GIMP. Anyone know where to find them?

Example:

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

You'll have to make them yourself. Maybe once it comes out someone will be able to rip them but for now you'll have to make the icons yourself

Someone did make them already. TheZman or someone made a Storm replica theme, with those icons. I emailed him and posted on another forum to request them.

Like Brian already said...you need to make them.

I doubt Zman will release icons he made.

I may take some time and label the icons like he did and release them.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry)

I didn't realize that he made those. Is it possible to recreate them in GIMP?

Yes it is possible, GIMP is a very nice tool if you don't want to tackle PS or can't afford it

Can you elaborate on this? The icons are included with the device simulator?

Keep searching here.

You'll need Plazmic, and probably the GIMP if you want to crunch out some killer icons.

And a whole boatload of patience.

Send me a email though PMB and I will send you my set that I made.
They are 80x80 but can easily re-sized if needed...

My method would be to take screenshots in the device simulator of the icons and cut them out using GIMP of Fireworks.

I have long given up on this project. Way too much work, and they came out looking like dookie.
