Default request: bold theme - 11-12-2008, 06:53 AM

I am looking for a simple them for my bold, one that displays the 18 icons at first and not the L icons, or the typic 5 icon page that every Bold out of the box shows first.. It would be nice to have a "phone" icon.

I use to have flaboyant on my Curve but haven't seen anything like that for the Bold yet.

thanks
A.

So the one I mocked up for you with 18 icons on the home screen you didn't like, nor want I guess, although I asked what background you wanted and so on so it could be customized to fit you......

Instead you want all the icons on the home screen, so you don't have to hit the menu button, but I don't really know if that is possible on the bold and I haven't really looked into it yet, but maybe someone here knows or will research it and get you what you want...or verify my thoughts that it might not be possible on the bold.

Sorry I didn't produce exactly what you where looking for with my quick theme build for you, but I tried.

Here's the other thread, from the 9000 forum so people looking at this post can get the full understanding of what you're looking for.

Here's a shot of what I mocked up for "SmoothRunnings" but it sounds like this isn't what he wants....

Um, that looks exactly what the original request was. I don't see what the problem here is. SmoothRunnings, what is wrong with the theme Magnum posted?

I was under the impression you didn't want it so I stopped working on it. If you would have said looks good, it's a go but I want the stock background and....., I would have finished it up and gotten it to you one way or another. Instead you said ''This is what I am after, and probably would be very simple and straight forward I think" [insert your pic here], but I am guessing you're not sure what's involved in the process.

By all means these themes don't take hours to build, unless it's custom, but I am also not going to put time and effort into a build for someone if they don't even want it. I'm also not going to go back to the drawing board over and over again. I build some themes for friends and have learned to have them proof it first, then I make sure everything works / functions right before they get it, and this way I'm not going back and forth jacking with it. They're happy, I'm happy and we've minimized my time...

Default I would love an icon theme too! - 11-20-2008, 02:16 AM

I'd love to see a theme like the above!

Just a simple icon theme with the same style as default would be awesome!!

I will shower you with thanks if you create it (not sure if that means much to ya . I'm sure others would be very grateful too, I've seen several other postings asking for the same.

He finished it and did a great job. There was a bit a communication break down, for some reason this site was acting up and I wasn't getting my notices there was messages here for me, plus the site was super slow when I tried to access it from home and from the office, not to mention it was slow from the Rogers network. It seems to be okay today!

So, one more piece of key info: where can I find it?

Thanks!
