I would assume the storm is the same as all of the other blackberrys. Take a look around the media section and search for "video encoding" you should be able to find the right settings. Just adjust the video screen size to fit the Storm's resolution.

Ahh-ha, Nide Soft has 480x368 via the settings tab for blackberry .MP4 files.

I use this software now and am completely satisfied. Let me know if you have any particular questions about the software, I won't be able to speak for the storm because I have a bold, but I can share my thoughts.

FYI: Their trial only allows a max of 2 minutes per rip.

Default Vio video convertor - 12-23-2008, 09:50 PM

The ViO mobile video converter converts virtually any web video format file into a file that’s 100% compatible with your portable media device, compressing it up to 20% of its original size without any reduction in image quality. ViO converts your media faster than any tool on the market today.

found at vio.thepiratebay.org

and completely free!

I also just got a storm. A lot of the reason I got one was because of the media capability for when I travel. The 1st day I tried to do a 'convert for optimum playback' via the desktop manager software but that was taking forever so I discovered that I could just open the folder and drop an .avi into it and they play back with no problem. There are several free avi converters out there so try one of them and just drop the result into the folder, you should not have any problems with sizing format.

The first step you must take to get what you want out of life is this: Decide what it is you want.
