Question How to make a ringtone?

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to make ringtones from CD music that I own already. I'm attempting right now to make one using WavePad; however it seems to be taking forever to read the track.

What is the easiest way to make ringtones from music that I have the CDs for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, I did check that out before I posted the question. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with WavePad? It is taking almost an hour to read one track off CD. In fact I think I have the "make your own ringtone" on my computer.

I think I'm going to trash the WavePad...I can't take an hour or more to convert one ringtone.

Thanks for your help!

Don't know a thing about WavePad, but if you want to make your own ring tones I'd try Audacity. Free, easy and has step by step directions on their website. I've used it, and if I can do it.....anyone can.

Sounds great! Thank you! After all the waiting on WordPad to load the song.......nothing played anyway so I dumped the whole POS program.

Ringtone Ripper is a good free program too.

Edit: Well....they went and changed the website to some text program so I guess I won't be reccomending that anymore. :(
