The easiest way is to download it directly to your Blackberry with the Blackberry web browser. Failing that, you can use the Desktop Software to install it after downloading it to your pc.
There are a bunch of free themes posted right here in this very forum.... read down. There are links in some of the posts to other sites with free themes, too. Keep readin'.

daphne is right, there are numerous themes here in this thread. You can also try a site called PimpMyBerry. It has nice themes for free.

you have 2 different kinds of theme downloads, the ones existing out of ALX and COD files, those need to be installed through the desktop manager, OR you have the ones ending on *.JAD those need to be installed simply by surfing to the URL of the file through your blackberry OR by downloading them with the OTA downloader which can be found HERE: Blackberry OTA downloader | download free OTA themes to your desktop
