Default ? about 3PG video - 12-22-2008, 10:35 PM

have new 4.5 os with video recorder - I sent file to laptop via bluetooth and my Windows Media Player does not support .3gp files...

What can you do w/o spending a lot of money?

No, you don't need any software to convert the video to play on your PC.

Download and install Quicktime from Apple, which is free. It will play videos from the BlackBerry just fine.

yes but you do need software to convert files to play on your handheld

Is there any software that can be downloaded to the BB that supports streaming of .3gp files for playback on the hand held itself? (BB Curve 8310 specifically)

VLC is a good alternative with several advantages over Quicktime.
