  1. The date field is set outside the view. Go to "Theme the Banner" in the Inspector window and click "Reposition Banner Objects". Find the Date field and resize it.
  2. By button Zen are you refering to a bottom dock? (Icons at bottom of Home Screen rather than left side)

With my recent theme I found out how to do this. Go to "Theme the Home Screen" in the Inspector window. Now add some Zen apps, they will appear like normal on the left side with text names and tabs but don't worry as they can be removed. Now, click on each Zen app and scroll down in the Inspector window and deselect "Show Text" in the Properties section. This will remove the text names. Select "Reposition Applications" (below the application list) and now you can place the icons as you want on the bottom of the screen. Two things you want to remember for each Zen app:
  1. Check "Use Device Application Order", this way the user can modify what app they want to appear. Not critical but will avoid the questions later.
  2. Maintain your order. The first Zen app in the application list should be the first one on the left and so on down the line.

Another thing you can do is click reposition apps, and then select all of the zen icons. Then go down to the show text button, and just click it once. It will apply that to all of the icons at one time, instead of doing it for each individual icon.

That's because you chose the "Today" style theme instead of the "Custom" style..with the "Custom" style you can add Today and Zen items

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

It's easy to do that if your into a theme, it's in the settings and it will keep everything you do so you don't have to start over. Under change theme type if you don't know already
