Default Transfering My Music in BB - 12-25-2008, 08:44 AM

What is the easier and best way getting music on to bb? I have tried Roxy media, windows media ect. I ihave a 4gb sd card but when i use roxy it seems that all songs never make it in the bb. My question is what is the best way of getting music into your bb. Any suggestions or does anyone else have this problem? Thanks

You can also burn to a CD and transfer through your media manager, Still my favorite method

One more question, using bb media, i just downloaded a song matchbox is the artist and push is the song, i synced it to my bb, but its not on my bb. Also some files say supported and some not, what does that mean? Also when syncing is in process, my phones says do you want to turn on mass storage, i say yes, is this correct. Thanks again steve

I just use a card reader. Take the micro sd card out of the bb, plug it into a micro card sd adapter and a card reader and transfer music or any other files using windows exporer.

Maybe this taken from the system requirements page for Media Sync:
"Files that are not compatible with the BlackBerry media player or protected files controlled by digital rights management technologies cannot be copied."

"... any unsupported audio file will not be synchronized with the BlackBerry smartphone."

Gotta love DRM!

Blackberry media manager works good. It also sinks very well with itunes. The only problem I have is about 30% of my songs will not transfer because of protected digital rights management. Code 402. Anyone know a way around this? All of my music is purchased, no stealing or borrowing.

Burn the DRM music to an audio CD, then rip it back to the PC and then you can convert it and put in on the BB.
