Default Charge to carrier sites? - 12-31-2008, 11:29 AM

Was wondering if anyone knew some App/theme/ringtone sites that will allow you to pay by charging it right to your phone bill? I'm use rogers and so far the only sites i've seen that do this are for Verizon, Tmobile and ATT.

Why pay for stuff when you can find it on the internet for free, and if you cannot find it, you can make it yourself?

Maybe so the starving artists who create the stuff can eat? Oh and also because it's called stealing and your mother should have taught you better.

Yes I'm aware there is legitimate free stuff out there, but it doesn't look like that's what the OP is looking for.

Starving artists making 5 dollar themes? Maybe they should invest some time into a more financially fulfilling career.

I don't charge, and more than likely never will charge for anything that I put out there. I don't consider it stealing when so much stuff, like the stuff posted here, is so readily available, and is listed as FREE.

I'm not talking about the free crap as I already stated so you can save your argument.

Well I am not sure what you are getting at then? The OP wanted to know if he/she could bill their ringtones/apps/themes to their provider. Maybe the OP doesn't know that there is a bunch of free stuff out there for his/her phone? The OP only gas 22 posts, so maybe he/she is new to the BB world, and doesn't realize everything that there is out there for free?

Hey guys-

I would like to respectfully ask that you take your debate to the PM area.

Thanks.

Hey guys. Thanks for the debate, give my topic some beef.

Anyways, I"m aware of all the free stuff out there. However, most of that free stuff is crap and I don't want it. Also, If i could make apps/themes and what not for the Blackberry, believe me I would but I have no idea how and probably dont' want to mess with that sort of stuff as I can't afford to buy a new BB if i screw this one up.

Making your own themes using Plazmic is not that hard actually. I figure if I can do it, pretty much anyone can do it. There are so many tutorials out there, and good ones at that, and so many people that are willing to help, including myself. You should give it a shot. You won't brick your phone like you think you will.

Tutorials? Where would one find these tutorials. I'd love to learn how to make themes.

I think that should be quite a bit of information. I followed the one on Pinstack, and asked a LOT of questions.
