Could someone please tell me what the maximum length of the PHONE ringtone is? I want to create a few ringtones but I don't know how long they can / can't be in seconds.

P.S. Oh, while I'm asking - does this ringtone length apply to ALL tones? ie., SMS, MMS, FACEBOOK, etc..???

I made a 47sec mp3 ringtone today and I am pretty sure it plays thru before going to voicemail but I'm not 100% sure..anyone?

The ringtone will play until your Vmail picks up
Its really up to your voicemail
You can change your voicemail to pick up after 5, 7, 10 rings
That will depend on how long your song plays for?

Also, It doesnt apply to all of your settings.
Your best bet is it edit your profiles to play the songs you want

All of mine are at 30 seconds. Form my experience most play for about 23 seconds.

Anything under 30 seconds should be fine. Anything more than hat is a waste of space cause the ringt wont go past 30 second anyway

Since the 4.5 release my ringtones play till the caller hangs up the phone (I've disabled the voicemail). With the 4.2 release it didn't do that.
