Default Speaker Docks - 02-12-2009, 11:25 AM

I have been fairly impressed with the sound coming out of headphones playing music on my Bold. I don't have an Ipod and was wondering if investing in a speaker dock for my Blackberry might be a good one.

Anyone gone that route, were satisified with the results, and can suggest any brands?

I am also interested in a dock that works specifically with a BlackBerry. There are thousands for the iPod but I have not seen one for a BlackBerry.

Actually, my ipod dock works with my Storm. I have a JBL dock for it, although it sits in the cradle, it hooks up with the headphone jack.

I got the BT Stereo gateway plugged into my nice big stereo system and let the fun begin.

It's Ok.. Not the best I can go maybe 15 ft away without Direct LOS before it's starts cutting out, but it is only BlueTooth.

I've been meaning to look into BlueToothv2 and see what advantages it has over the BlueTooth in the current BlackBerries.

I have a nice Stereo in my Living Room, I walk threw my kitchen (a good 15 away) and my music plays fine, I also sit out on my back patio with the screen doors closed (10 ft away with misc stuff in the way) just fine. Once I walk upstairs though my signal drops (which is fine).

The music quality threw BlueTooth is somewhat noticably though.
