Default Free Precision Theme Collection for Curve OS4.5 (Boldlike, Stormlike, 8900like) - 02-23-2009, 05:25 AM

Theme name: Precision Theme Collection for Curve
Theme author: aneto
Theme credits: RIM, for the precision resources
Supported Device Model(s) and OS: 83XX OS4.5
Download Link(s): Find them at the bottom of this post
Theme Cost: Free

After using my Curve for few months, the Dimension theme was slightly boring for me. For it I decide to create for myself, a style Precision theme for my Curve. After playing during several days with the Plazmic CDK 4.6, this one is the result that I have obtained. Now is for me a pleasure to share it with all of you.

Features:

- User defined fonts (except for dialog and menu)
- Customizable Wallpapers: Home, App & Lock screens
- User defined Home screen icons
- Bottom Dock, L Version

Next To Do:
- Today+ version
- Icon version
- Compatibility with OS4.2, OS4.3, and other 320x240 screens devices.

Wow, I just recently upgraded to the 8900 but if I were still using any of my 83xx series, these would be incredible!! Hard to believe such nice looking themes are free!! thanks for the hard work.

I just installed this theme..Very Nice! Looks like your calendar version is going to be very nice! I think a Today / Bottom Zen theme would be a nice addition.

Fantastic! Just installed this on my old 8320 to see what it looks like and it's flawless. Definitely the best Precision-style theme I've come across for the 83xx. Great job

Wow dude those are some sick themes! I would be ALL OVER the 8900 L Today theme when it drops if I didn't upgrade to the 8900 already. You are awesome. Keep up the clean themes!

I am not a big theme guy but I have tried a couple and they all seem to negatively effect other areas of the BB. Nothing major just nuisances.

I just installed your BOTTOM DOCK 8900 83xx OS4.5 and it is flawless.

Excellent job and Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

Storm L theme does NOT scroll horizontally. Only the vertical side on the initial screen.

Plazmic theme builder don´t allow both navigation directions at the same time.
I choose vertical for the icons and horizontal to access profiles icon in the banner.
If you continue scroll down then you can access the botton dock icons as well.

Thank you. I agree with you that is better have all the collection in the same thread, but by the forum rules I can't edit the first post for new updates/aditions. I will open a new thread soon...

Cool slowness - 03-17-2009, 07:11 PM

did anyone notice the slowness when loading a them on the BB 8330?
it can be any theme, except the original ones, and my BB slows down considerably

btw, i tried all of them on this post and they are very nice ....except for the slowness and mushiness in the device

A question about these themes:
When I select "add folder" there is only 1 of the new bold like folders and the rest are the older BB folders. Is it be possible to add in a few more bold folders in some different colors?

Are you getting close? You'd mentioned that you were working on this theme now with Plazmic 4.7.

Absolutely love your themes Aneto. Thanks for all the work you put into them.

I don't know how hard it is to do these themes or if this is even possible but I was wondering if instead of an "L" shape if there is a way to make a vertical dock on each side of the screen?

NO. Only for 83xx devices (8300, 8310, 8320 & 8330).

The wallpaper to the Stormlike versions is very cool - any chance you'd post a jpg file?
