Default Advanced Plazmic/Composer question: View app on lockscreen? - 03-14-2009, 04:55 AM

I need to have a certain app from my homescreen be visible on my lockscreen as well. How can I do that?

I initially thought it was impossible, however I am pretty sure I recall seeing a theme where the developer said that something (I am not sure what) from the homescreen was visible on the lockscreen. Now that I have a need for that myself I wish I had been paying more attention.

Also there is the fact that the lockscreen section of Theme Builder allows you to load a svg file, so it must be possible.

Any tips to point me in the right direction?

Forget it, I figured it out. It was actually much easier than I expected.

So the question now becomes: Is there a way to show the name of that app on the lockscreen as well?

Sounds interesting, how did you do that? I would love to have my calendar visible when the BlackBerry is locked.

Unfortunately I have only been able to have the icon shown on the lockscreen, not the text or events (and I don't think that is currently possible).
