Default Curve 8900 Theme: Weather Plus - 03-15-2009, 07:24 PM

Name: Weather Plus
Creator: Me
Cost: FREE
Link: Dylan's FREE Blackberry Themes: Curve 8900 Theme: Weather Plus

This theme is very closely based on my Weather Plus for Bold, but I have addded a few changes and improvements.

If you like this theme be sure to also check out Weather Today

The icon in the top right will be whatever application you have as the first item on your main application list. I intended that you use it for your weather app, but of course you can use it for whatever application you want. As you can see in the screenshots your weather app will show on your lockscreen as well.

As I did in many of my other themes I used my own custom Battery and Signal meters. They are the blue bars across the very top of the screen. The left half is Battery, right half is Signal. Each little section is 10%.

Here is a screenshot, there is more on my site at the download link.

Also be sure to check out all my other themes: Dylan's FREE Blackberry Themes

They are lined up with the unread SMS, Email, etc icons so those are overlaping for you too?

They do not overlap for me.

Love the theme! Wish we could have it on the old Curve!

I deleted the theme so I am not sure about the unread SMS etc.. They overlapped on the zen part of the theme, bottom left hand corner (first two icons). It looked fine when you had all the icons up/home screen.

a great theme that i've been using for a couple weeks now.

couple issues I came across:

- In Google Maps when I select "Search Map", the font color is white. Since the search field is white, I cannot see what I type. Does this make sense?

- Same problem in BBM. when I click on "Add a contact...", the font color is white and I'm typing in a white field, so I can't see what I'm typing. If I go to something like "Add Group" or "Edit My Info", the font is still white, but the area I'm typing into has a blue background.

These are the only 2 apps I've seen this problem. I am running OS .206. My friend running OS .199 is experiencing the same problem.

Can we get a fix for this?

This theme has been moved to a new and improved website.

I have also added a OTA link for this theme (and for most of the other themes as well).

Click on the banner below for the new site this theme is now on:
