Default 8900 Themes - 03-19-2009, 11:18 AM

I currently have an 8310 on Rogers and I am thinking of switching to the 8900 but I need the theme "BB Dimention Today" (see pic) or something similar.

Since I don't get e-mails on my BB I really just need to glance at my upcoming appointments and BBDT lets me do that very well...

Can someone tell me if the 8900 has Dimention Today??

Thanks,

J

Wirelessly posted

I just got my 8900 a few days ago and from what I can tell it does not. Maybe someone knows of an app that offers this theme.

There are themes out there that are similar to this. The Plasmic theme builder for the 8900 was just released the other day so I'm sure themes for the 8900 will be coming in fast and furious now. I have one that shows 6 calendar appts on the homescreen when you roll over the Calendar icon at the bottom of the homescreen. When you roll over something else the 6 entries go away. It's pretty cool

How would I use the Plasmic theme builder?? Is there a website?

I have to agree with the second poster, these themes are doing things I never thought they would do. Unfortunately through phone switches I don't have the notoriously amazing Bcollins on my BBMessenger, but I KNOW he could make anything I need, and the crossbar he has out is AMAZING. I don't even know the settings, but when I get a text, I rollover it and they show up on the homescreen, when I roll off it, they go away. I haven't tried putting my messages box yet, but I want to to see the messages that come up.
