I am about 99% done with my first theme, meaning everything is working and looks good, but some things that aren't that important are bugging me.
One of them is the up and down arrows. I tried putting in my own arrows that are the same size as the stock ones, but for some reason, when I run the simulator, there's a transparent spot in the middle of the arrow. I've check the original file, and there's no transparency in it.
I've determined that the color white is for some reason being interpreted as transparent, so I've just used a different color. FIXED
Another is the sending/receiving icons (in Theme Builder, it's called Tx/Rx, etc.). Same problem. I'm making a G1 theme for the curve, so the outgoing is the icon with the arrows and the E on it (for edge I'm assuming). I've edited it into two icons for in/out. But on the simulator, the E and the arrows are transparent. I check the original files, and they're white, not transparent.
Changed white to a light gray. FIXED
Another thing is what I've been confused about. I'm making a today+ theme, so with my bottom dock, I want the biggest focus icon I can get (to match the G1 theme). Well, in Theme Builder, the focus and icons look centered, but when I run the simulator, the icons are to the left of being centered. I've fixed this by shifting the Icons that I use (this theme is pretty much for me, but if I can fix this problem, then I might be able to publish it for you guys!) to the right, so when I run the simulator, they are centered. This works, but when I go to the icon screen, the first 6 icons aren't centered and looks unprofessional.
Lastly, for the hourglass, I want the black progress circle used on the G1. I've made a gif of the circle, but when I load it into Theme Builder, it's just a black square.
I know this is A LOT to ask for and many theme developers don't want to give up their secrets, but any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, if I do get this to work and publish it, it will be FREE. Here are some screens I have ATM:
Here you can see how the icons I use are shifted to the right to make them align centered on the Homescreen.
