Do you have a media card? What OS are you running on your Curve? It's helpful if you put your actual model (meaning 8300, 8330 or which one it is) and your OS version in your profile. It makes it easier to troubleshoot problems and questions.

You can also save a video to your PC and watch there, and transfer it to your media card from your PC. If you have QuickTime on your PC it should automatically play in QT. If not, you can download it free. You don't need the paid version.

i should have updated the first post, but it isn't my blackberry, it is a co workers blackberry.

he has the curve from Verizon, 8330. not sure of the OS off hand.

he has a 2gb media card in his phone. however, if he sends a video to my BB via email, i am not able to play it.

why are blackberries not setup to play video files from another BB? that just seems messed up.

Has a battery pull been tried?
