Default 8300 wont work with 8g

Please Login to Remove!

okay my 8300 blackberry curve, will not work with an 8g memory card sd media card blahblah. so im downloading 4.5 so maybe that will help. So please tell me if this will help! and did u know all windows computers wont take a 8g micro sd memory card in less u have a $30 special micro sd reader for it. U cant just stick it in a biger sd reader it came with like 1-4g. only 5-16 or so on g does this. I have 800 songs i want to put on my phone with alot of pictures and i cant because when i go to blackberry desktop manager it wot let me save anything to the media card. :/

This WILL fix it. You need 4.5 or higher for 4gb or high. You'll be ok once u upgrade

I disagree with that. If it isn't broken, there is no need to fix it. If the device works for you as you want it to with no issues, then no need to upgrade. Upgrades can break things and cause problems getting them back to how you want it.

Probably a minority opinion, but I stand by it.

true. you make a good point. this is a personal preference i guess. however, its usually the major jumps that cause issues (4.6 to 5.0 for example)

4.5.1.1 to 4.5.1.3 for example usually doesnt cause issues, but is mostly bug fixes
