Exclamation How do I convert .jad to .alx? - 06-29-2009, 01:39 AM

I've looked at a number of threads on how to do this, but is there a detailed, concise manual/instructions? The threads I've looked at do no justice. A thorough explanation/lead-through is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Wirelessly posted (Wohoo! I'm mobile!)

You can't, they jad OTA are designed for a over the air install and not through desktop manager.

All my themes can be found at PimpMyBerry.com

You can't unfortunately.
I use the OTA Loader. Go to Google and search "OTA Loader".
It should be the second link that shows up. Should say "BLKBRY TECH: Blackberry OTA downloader".

1. Download the .zip folder.
2. Extract the program to wherever you want it.
3. Run the program.
4. Go to whatever theme online that's an OTA online.
5. Right click on the link where you can download the .JAD file, and click "Open In New Tab".
6. Copy the address in the new tab.
7. Paste the address in the OTA Loader and click "Download".
8. Copy those files it downloads into your "documents" file on your phone.
9. Go into your media on your phone. Go into "Explore" and go into your documents folder.
10. Click on the last file, which should be the .JAD file.
11. Click "download" and it will install the theme onto your phone.
12. Activate the theme and enjoy.

Remember people put OTA only for a reason. Don't steal peoples themes.
