Default Where I can Ring #6 onto my 8700 - 12-01-2005, 10:04 AM

Just need a *regular phone ring* like Ring #6 that was on my older blackberries.
Screaminging loud on High Volume which was just what I need as 20% of my time is often in very LOUD environment.

Any advice

Me too! I would love to be able to have some of the ringtones back from my 8520. I refuse to have a SONG play as a ringer and the phone ringers on the 8700 have much to be desired. I will be watching this thread to see how to just get some respectable "business phone" ringers on my 8700.

Try this ringtone: http://www.davidenglish.com/wml/phone_loud1.mp3. If you can't download it successfully, try using: http://davidenglish.com/wml/phone_loud1.mp3. I maximized the volume just below the point of distortion, so it should be as loud as the hardware will allow. I don't have a 8700, so I wasn't able to test it on a BlackBerry.

That is one thing I miss from my old 7250. Anyone know where these can be found?

I don't know of any way to export a built-in ringtone. Your best bet would be to search for something similar on the Web.
