Device is a Tour, 9000 series. Dekstop Manager software is 5.0.

We have attempted to sync iTunes (non-DRM files) or use media manager for a week now to no avail. When we attempt to sync, it does not recognize the devise at all. When using media manager, it does not recognize media card.

We have: Reset the device; turned mass-storage off, formatted the media card, turned mass-storage back on; uninstalled and reinstalled Desktop Manager 5.0 a few times; uninstalled and reinstalled media manger a few times.

This is my first experience at this, so any assistance is greatly appreciated. What am I missing here? Thanks

You might try a slightly older version of Desktop Manager like 4.7. Some people have had bad luck with DM 5.

Thank you Daphne. Yes, we've tried this with DM 4.7. Same results, it is not recognizing the media card. I don't know if it's relevent, but this is an HP laptop we are trying to load Desktop Manager and sync the iTunes to the device with. Help!
