i bought a 2gb media card and put it into my phone, so i transferred all of my pictures from the phone to the media card. about a week later it tells me i need to format the card (aka delete everything on it). my computer says it needs to be formatted as well. i've gotten around this issue before with a memory card for my camera, but can't figure it out this time.

anyone have any ideas how to get the data off of my media card?

the at&t store was no help, so i'm asking the experts
