BB App World to Offer Carrier Billing in 2010 | Wireless Week

For those of you who hate using paypal.

Hopefully they have a clever way to control that via IT Policy or other mechanism... without disabling App World entirely.
If not, this could backfire, big time.

We don't block App World via IT Policy because we currently don't need to worry about having hundreds of users buying apps and charging them to corporate wireless bill.
User wants an app... user pays for app.

Wow... yeah, I could definitely see that getting out of hand quick! Certainly RIM would implement a policy to cover just this situation, right? Right?

Could you imagine an organization with thousands of BlackBerry users deciding that they want to buy an app, only to have that purchase hit the corporate cell bill? Ouch. How in the world would you even begin to explain to the carrier that the charges need to be reversed?

Yeah should be interesting to see what they come up with.
