JPG REM files.... how do I get my pictures?
 Over the past year or so I have built up, thanks to a large SD card around 400 pictures on the Blackberry. I used to take them off the Blackberry using the Roxio software no problem. Recently the PC was rebuilt, the Blackberry had my employers encryption policy pushed to it, and suddenly I can not access these files. The Roxio program does not seem to be available for download anymore, and the new Media Manager does not work.
There are loads of sites on the web that offer free converters (after loads of downloads and installs, none of them work). How do I get my pictures back, there is this summers family holiday in France + a boys weekend trip riding Harleys down Route 66 - both not viewable. It looked as if this thread was going down the right route, but it has been closed ... and the forum software is insisting I remove the URL - so I have now done that
Please, someone help. THis forum won't even let me upload a sample file to let you see the problem I am having!!! :x
I haven't used the media manager plugin for desktop manager for a long time, but as far as I know it is still available even for the newest desktop manager version. Is that not true?
An alternative, though cumbersome, would be to email the pictures to yourself. I know that's not really a good option for hundreds of images, but at least you could get the one's you really want to save, or work on it a little each day over time. ..... But I'd be surprised if you can't get media manager.
