Default Picture folders assistance

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I've been searching for literally hours and haven't found the answer to my question so I thought I'd post here.

On my old phone (a Samsung) when photos were taken they were automatically placed into a folder called 'Photos0001'. Any photos I wanted to keep I moved into various folders I had created to 'clear out' the Photos0001 folder. Once moved into a folder, they disappeared from the Photos0001 folder (great!).

Now, on my Bold 9700 the newly taken pictures go into the 'all pictures' folder (the Photos0001 equivalent?). I want to declutter this as I did with my old phone and move photos from there into folders; and when I put my SD card from old phone into BB, the folders were there and perfect (also great!), but the photos ALSO seem to be present in the 'all pictures' folder. I don't want to delete any in 'all pictures' in case they are not duplicates, but at the same time I want to know how the process of having photos in folders but REMOVED from the 'all pictures' folder. (I'm sure there must be a way, otherwise folders would be pretty pointless...)

I would of course just hide the 'all pictures' folder but that's where all newly taken photos are directed so that would not really work...

Thanks for your help.
(so confused).
