Default Curve 8900 Recording Video Problem

I got my new Curve 8900 yesterday and I'm loving it so far. But i've come across one small problem. When I try and record video it comes up with a message saying "Failed to start recording" - then after a few attempt at recording it will say it is recording but the screen will freeze on whatever the camera was looking at prior to pressing record.

Then when I try and play the video file back it says "error unsuported file type"

Whats wrong? :(

Don't know. But the first troubleshooting step is a hard reset. With the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds.

If you are still having trouble and haven't done the hard reset, do it.

I would also wonder about the media card. Micro SD cards that are bad or going bad cause weird problems. But do the hard reset first, then look at other possible issues if that doesn't fix things.
