Default Length of Ring tone playing on 7290/7100

Please Login to Remove!

Using the 7290 / 7100 on os 4.0.....

Does anybody know if its possible to extend the length that the tunes wil ring for before dropping to voicemail?

I have tried changing ring tunes and it seems some are longer than others...but it would be good if you couls set the length of time the device rang for...

Any ideas - have i missed the most obvious?

Call your provider and ask them to increase you number of rings before going to voicemail. Usually really easy, but if you have trouble call back and get someone who knows how to do it.

As Blkberryboy implied, how soon the incoming call rolls to voice mail is a function of the phone system, not the blackberry. Some VM systems allow you to set this from the VM options, others require the Provider CS to do it.

Hope this helps.

On my tmobile blackberry (and a couple samsungs on my family plan) look in call forwards or network settings. Can set it to: 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 seconds respectively.
