Problem Loading custom Threads -

Got a strange problem with a 7250 with OS 4.1 loaded. I installed the Plazmic theme reader on my 7250 (No icon on the home screen by the way, but the reader and themes are listed in Tools - Advanced Options - Applications) and when I go into Tools - Themes, I can see the themes I have loaded, but when I click to get the menu to activate that theme, the only option I get is close. I've tried uninstalling the reader and the themes, then loading just the reader and them the themes, installing the themes first then the reader, and doing a cold restart (taking the battery out) and nothing seems to help. I've searched the threads for about two hours now, and can't seem to find anyone who has the same issues, anyone have any ideas? I've also tried OTA and installs using the BB Manager, but nothing works.
Just to throw another wrinkle in the works, the Themes from mobile.blackberry.com show up and work fine.

Try loading another theme and see if you can duplicate the issue. It may be the theme? Load both the theme_reader.alx file and the theme.alx file and yes re-boot/start the phone.
Were the themes you are trying to load developed for your 7250, there are a ton of themes out there that were developed for the 8700 and the 7100 series that will not work on the 7250.

I've tried loading 3 or 4 different themes at different times, rebooting each time, no go, but this may be the problem. The themes that aren't working were for the 8700.
I thought theme compatibility was more OS version related than OS + device related.
