Default Anyone WILLing to HOST uber amounts of MP3's for the BBF community??? - 03-27-2006, 08:28 PM

Well, I've got about 100+ cuts of mp3 songs which i've made into shorter, mp3 ringtones... some of them with lyrics, some instrumentals(i prefer these)... They range from hiphop to drum & bass. I've been dj'ing for awhile and I have a buncha cuts on my pc. I use final scratch and have 1000's of songs.

If someone is kind enough and willing to host songs on a site, I'd be willing to put up atleast 20+ ringtones a day/week whatever and even take requests and create ringtones.

Please let me know if you're interested.

Also, i was wondering, if this song is hosted and the hostess cancels the acct for some reason, would the saved song on our phones be not available?
If this is the case, i may have to think about hosting.

I think this would be a great sticky.

Thanks.

Thanks bro for the warm welcome!

For sure, i love dnb and most electronica. Thats all i used to listen to for a long time. I've slowed down a bit on electronica + dnb but it'll still always be my favorite and get me goin, u know what i mean.. Im actually from dc and dont think i know who evol intent is. I was actually a bit more into 'trance' when pvd was producin some nice tracks... Have you ever been to ultra? Not too far from atl compared to me... i went twice

Well, nice to meet u man, its hard to find peepz who into electronica these days.

my co-worker is just returning from Miami/Ultra today, actually (I went last year and the year before as press). i'm fairly familiar with some of the DC scene (Jen Lasher is a good buddy of mine - used to have the biggest crush when we first met in a friend's Mustang a few years back in rural Alabama in '02, actually). in DC, i'd hardly say that its tough to find EDM people - i believe you have some of the biggest names in promotion (scott henry's buzzlife) and acts (prodigy was there just last week) that are frequent there. we have liquified (devin w.) down here in Atlanta (Highmix/Sami is on this forum and a BlackBerry user - he is/was a promoter here), as well as disco productions (donnie e.) in new orleans (great atmosphere down there, despite all the issues, both legally and katrina).

but yeah, i got into dnb a few years back when a friend introduced me to the genre (i too was into the whole trance scene prior). there are a few DC dnb acts that made it large (sinthetix - rob f and impulse; they broke up and josh/impulse now lives in atlanta - crazy, CRAZY guy... heh).

I plan on picking up some evol intent. I spin mostly Hospital type drum and bass (liquid funk).

High Contrast is pretty much my favorite producer, and Hospital Records is most definitely my favorite label. i just support evol intent b/c i've known them since their days at the University of Alabama prior to their move back to Atlanta. AJ (The Enemy) joined Nick (Knick) in Atlanta and Mike (Gigantor) followed soon after (he was in Birmingham for a bit).

If someone still needs webspace, send me a PM

I own half a server right now, and I am not using it all. I can definitely afford to offer some space/bandwidth.

Same here, I'd be willing to offer some bandwidth sponsorship.
