Anyone know if there are a max number of themes that the 8700 can store? I just unlocked the other carrier themes on my 8700. I lost the Tux theme I created and when I went to reinstall the Tux theme it doesn't show up in the theme list. However, it does show up in the applications list. With the unlock there are 11 carrier themes on my bb - is this the reason my custom theme won't show up?

Yes, there is a max number but the number will depend on what other apps each phone may have installed and how much memory is left. So there is but the number differs for each user.

I'm gonna go back to the alx file and trash the other vendor themes sprint was tmo's default, cing is CRAP - Vondafone was crap Verizon was ok but I think I'm better off with custom themes - thanks you don't have a link to the java loader program to delete themes on your bb do you? I miss placed the link

I am trying to find a theme for my 7250, NASCAR Toney Syewart, I saw one on page 98 for 8700 but no link to check for a 7250 theme. Any help would be great.

I posted in another thread but I am not sure if it will get noticed. I am looking for a University of Memphis theme and a Manchester United theme for my 8700g. If you can make the icons go on the right side and have something cool for the incoming call that would be great. If it's someone who accepts donations I will be more than happy to contribute. Also, if someone who knows this stuff very well could give me a rundown of how to take it from my computer and load it on my phone that would be nice. This is my first Blackberry so I don't know the system. I've played with the DASH a little bit and it was kind of confusing, so I am hoping the BB will be a little easier. Thanks in advance for any help!

Ok, I tried a couple of searches, and don't have the time to search through each one of these 100+ pages of themes to see if this question has ever been answered. Where can I get different icons to use with the Plazmic Theme Builder? I see lots of different icons other than just the examples that they give, but haven't been able to figure out wherre you all are getting them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Here the deal on the icon situation - the expert theme builders here (eck hem -slr and sil, to name ONLY two, who have been tremendous and helpful resources, at least to me) are TRULY a talent that can't be beat - they make/create their icons. Hacks like me have to resort to sourcing free icons via google, converting ico files to png files when necessary (there's a free program for that and it ROCKS! - Aveicon, I think you can find that as a free download at slr's site) as for the free icons you can try here first VistaIcons.com - Free Vista Style Icons , Vista Wallpapers, Free Icon Sets and Windows Vista Desktop Icons I have others and if there are specific icons you're looking for let me know if I have them I'll email them to you.

I have installed PLazmic CDK 4.2 with all the java dk and the rest of the goodies. My Blackberry pearl 8100 (Cingular) is using desktop manager 4.2.0.71 and the platform version is 2.2.0.41. I am having trouble viewing themes on the pearl, themes that other people have made. I am doing all this by downloading off the web, I dont want to use my phone to install the themes, because the blackberry browser is not activated. Can someone please help me out?

Everytime i use desktop manager to install the applications it places them on my phone but never appears in the theme directory....

I can get the themes all put together, but when I try to add it with the dm it says that "no additional applications designed for my device were found." Am I missing a step? It says it's an ALX file, but it won't let me load it. Any ideas?

I have read thru 60 pages of this massive thread trying to figure out if it is possible to change the size and color of the fonts on the home screen of the 8700. From reading the first 30 pages I learned that the theme maker did not allow for this at first and everyone was awaiting new additions of the builder to permit this.

Listen I have old failing eyes and on my Dimmension Zen theme (list them nit icon) I barely can read the small font lists on the home screen. All I want is a plain white background or wallpaper with black fonts on the home screen. Is that possible.

8100 – Cingular/AT&T – running 4.2.0.73 – Theme Builder 2.0.0.26

I have created a theme that contains a separate folder for SMS/ on the home screen. I then export the ALX and THM files, run app-loader and load to the Pearl. On the Pearl theme selection I can see the new SMS folder, however when I activate the new theme the folder is not there. What is going on and what am I missing? Is this something that is being blocked by Cingular or ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just wish plazmic would release some new version for 8700 and a new theme builder for 8800. Seems like they're a little slow out there.
